How do students apply to 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ test-optional?
Both the 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ and Common Application are available to applicants applying test-optional. Students will be prompted when submitting the application to indicate if they are applying test-optional.
If applying test-optional, are students directly admitted to their major?
Select academic programs . This is due to the competitive nature of some majors, or limited space. However, 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ will automatically evaluate all applicants regardless of major for the Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS). This ensures that students receive an admissions decision if awaiting a test date or another testing assessment for placement.

- August 1: Students must be admitted by August 1 to qualify for merit scholarships. Test scores and GPA information submitted for already admitted students is not automatically applied to merit.
