Housing Self-Selection

Join the Mountaineer Parents Club and to discuss self-selection, choosing housing and the next steps. This session will include an extensive Q&A.

Who should attend: Parents or students who did not attend the November 2024 housing webinar, and students who have not selected housing.

WV Residents and Financial Aid

Sunday, February 16
6:30-8 p.m. EST

Join the Mountaineer Parents Club and the to discuss Promise, grants, scholarships, FAFSA completion and the 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ Guarantee. Families can ask questions related to financial aid and how it works.

Who should attend: West Virginia residents: families with an adjusted gross income of $65,000 or less and families wanting to learn more about the financial aid process and where to start.

A 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ Hub staff member assists students with financial aid and academic information at Evansdale Crossing.

Financial Aid and Next Steps

Tuesday, April 8
6:30-8 p.m.

Join the Mountaineer Parents Club and the to discuss financial aid, what to expect during billing, FERPA and more. This session will include an extensive Q&A.

Who should attend: Any parent or student with questions about billing, accessing their accounts and how to manage financial aid.

New Student Orientation and Families

Thursday, April 24
6:30-8 p.m.

New Student Orientation and the Mountaineer Parents Club invites families to join them for an overview of NSO, modules, ALEKS, registration, advising and more. An adviser and NSO staff members will be available to answer questions.

Who should attend: Any parent or student wanting more information about the NSO process.

Move-In and the First Month

Monday, July 14
6:30-8 p.m.

Join the Mountaineer Parents Club, and for one final webinar before your student starts school in August. During this webinar, you’ll learn about the move-in process, your student’s first month of college, how to get involved and how to handle heavy conversations. This will touch on topics you learned during NSO.
